Our pride – The Aligator Range of Electrodes

The Aligator electrodes are a composition of a number of metals that can ensure a bacteriologically clean body of water up to 200,000 liters in a domestic environment and up to 1.5 million liters in a commercial setting. For larger volumes, custom-built ionization units and varied electrode formulations are available.

The success of the Aligator electrodes has been arrived at after many years of research and development. The electrodes are conspicuously circular and utilize proprietary technology to allow the production and release of energized ions from every available surface of the electrodes.

When the control unit emits a low-voltage DC current to the electrodes, positively charged copper, silver, and zinc ions are formed and carried downstream in the water flow. The ionic saturation of copper and silver effectively controls bacteria, viruses, and algae. The zinc ions attract magnetic and non-magnetic solids and remove from suspension in the water. Regular dosing of flocculants or water clarifiers will no longer be necessary.

The ionic biocides produced are stable and give very long-term residual disinfection. Copper and silver ions are pH neutral, non-corrosive, and unaffected by temperature or sunlight.
