The Festo VMPA series sub-bases are modular manifold plates for the MPA-S valve terminal system, forming the foundation of the Type 32 valve island architecture . Available in configurations for MPA1 (10 mm valve width) with 4 valve positions, or MPA2 (20 mm valve width) with 2 valve positions, these sub-bases provide both pneumatic connection and electronic module mounting . Manufactured from die-cast aluminium with CRC 0 no corrosion stress, the VMPA sub-bases feature standard M7 threaded working ports, support reversible flow direction (standard) or non-reversible with integrated check valves, and offer pressure zone separation options including channel 1 blocked variants .
