Wet and dry bulb hygrometers consist of two thermometers, one of these has a dry bulb and the bulb of the second is kept wet. Hygrometers using evaporative cooling as a measure of humidity.
The relative humidity range is 1% to 93% RH and has a temperature range of -15–50°C (5– 120°F).
Features:
- Consisting of dry and wet alcohol filled glass thermometers fixed on a panel.
- Can make use of the top mounting hook to hook your hygrometer onto a fixing, or both the top and bottom mounting hooks to screw your hygrometer to a wall or fence post for additional stability.
- By differential indication between these thermometers, humidity can be read to the table mounted on a panel.
- Evaporation at the wet bulb lowers the temperature so this thermometer usually displays a lower temperature
