Content:

• Active Ingredient: Human anti-tetanus immunoglobulin (250 units per 1 ml).
• Other Ingredients: Aminoacetic acid (2.25% w/v as a stabilizer), sodium chloride (isotonic agent), glacial acetic acid (pH adjustant), dried sodium carbonate, thimerosal (0.01% w/v as a preservative), and water for injection.

• Prophylaxis against tetanus: Used for passive immunization in individuals with an incomplete or uncertain immunization status who have sustained a wound.
• Treatment of active tetanus: Although evidence is limited, it can be used as part of the treatment regimen for active tetanus cases.

1. Dosage: 250 units injected intramuscularly (IM) for both adults and children.
2. Administration Site: Inject into the anterolateral aspects of the upper thigh or the deltoid muscle of the upper arm. Avoid the gluteal region due to the risk of injury to the sciatic nerve.
3. Timing: Administer as soon as possible after exposure and within 48 hours if possible.
4. Storage: Store in a refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C. Shake gently before use.
