Content:

• Active Ingredient: Human anti-D immunoglobulin (300 micrograms per 2 ml).

• Suppression of Rh isoimmunization: Used in Rh(D)-negative individuals to prevent the formation of antibodies against Rh(D)-positive red blood cells.
• Pregnancy and obstetric conditions: Routine antepartum and postpartum Rh prophylaxis.
• Incompatible transfusions: Prevents isoimmunization in Rh(D)-negative individuals receiving Rh(D)-positive blood.
• Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP): Used to raise platelet counts in Rh(D)-positive adults with chronic ITP.

1. Administration: Injected intravenously (IV) or intramuscularly (IM) by a healthcare professional.
2. Dosage: Typically, a single dose of 300 micrograms (1500 IU) is administered.
3. Timing: Administered before or early after exposure to Rh(D)-positive red blood cells.
4. Monitoring: Patients should be monitored for signs of intravascular hemolysis, especially in ITP patients.
5. Storage: Store in a refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C. Do not freeze.
