Indications:

Vasticure 20 is used as an adjunct to diet for:

• Lowering elevated total cholesterol (total C), LDL C, and ApoB

• Increasing HDL C

• Reducing total mortality and risk of major cardiovascular (CV) events in adults with increased CV risk markers

• Treating primary hypercholesterolemia (including heterozygous familial forms), mixed dyslipidemia (type IIb), and homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia

• Slowing progression of atherosclerosis by achieving lipid targets

• Also indicated in children aged 10–17 years with heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia

Instructions:

• Administration: May be taken with or without food

• Dosage Guidance: Starting dose typically 5–10 /mg once daily; can be adjusted after ~4 weeks based on response and tolerance. Maximum recommended dose is 40 /mg, reserved for patients with severe hypercholesterolemia or high cardiovascular risk under close monitoring
