Contents

• Active Ingredient: Each millilitre contains 1 mg of cetirizine hydrochloride, a second-generation antihistamine that selectively inhibits peripheral H receptors, effectively reducing allergy symptoms. 
• Preservative: Contains 0.15% w/v parabens as a preservative.

Indications

• Relieve symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, including sneezing, runny or itchy nose, and itchy, red, or watery eyes. 
• Treat uncomplicated skin manifestations of chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives), reducing the occurrence, severity, and duration of hives and significantly alleviating pruritus.

Instructions for Use

• Dosage:
  • Adults and Children over 12 years: Take 10 ml (10 mg) once daily.
  • Children 6 to 11 years: Take 5 ml (5 mg) once daily.
  • Children 2 to 5 years: Start with 2.5 ml (2.5 mg) once daily; may increase to 5 ml (5 mg) once daily or 2.5 ml (2.5 mg) twice daily, depending on symptom severity and patient response. 
• Administration: For oral use only. Shake the bottle well before use. Measure the dose using the provided measuring spoon and take it by mouth. Precautions:
  • Avoid alcohol consumption while taking Adezio, as it may enhance the sedative effect. 
  • Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney impairment; dose adjustments may be necessary. 
  • Consult a doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding, as cetirizine is excreted in human milk. 
  • May cause drowsiness; avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until you know how the medication affects you.
