QA-OMNI Advanced Universal Signal Converter
The QEED QA-OMNI is an advanced universal signal converter for current, voltage, frequency, potentiometer and temperature inputs. It supports RTD and thermocouple measurement, programmable analogue retransmission, relay alarm output, RS485 Modbus RTU communication and USB datalogging.
It is designed for industrial automation, process monitoring, BMS, EMS, SCADA, PLC, machine panels and IoT applications where different field signals must be converted, isolated, logged and transmitted to a supervisory system.

Overview
QA-OMNI is suitable when a project has multiple possible signal types and a flexible universal converter is required. One module can be configured for voltage, current, temperature, potentiometer, resistance or frequency signals, reducing the need to keep different converter models for different applications.
The device provides analogue retransmission, digital Modbus RTU data and a programmable alarm contact. It can also perform USB datalogging with timestamped data, making it useful for commissioning, troubleshooting, temporary measurement and permanent monitoring.

4-Way Isolation
QA-OMNI provides 4-way galvanic isolation between the input, analogue / digital output, RS485 / USB communication and power supply. This helps reduce signal noise, ground loop problems and reference potential issues in industrial panels.
Isolation paths: Input, analogue and digital output, RS485 / USB communication and power supply are galvanically isolated at 1.5kV.
Datalogging Function
QA-OMNI includes USB On-The-Go datalogging using a USB pen drive. The integrated RTC real-time clock allows timestamped storage, and recorded files can be downloaded in Excel-importable format for analysis and reporting.

Configuration
QA-OMNI can be configured using the free FACILE QA-OMNI software through USB or RS485. The software allows configuration of input type, conversion range, span, zero, analogue output, relay alarm, logging and Modbus communication settings.
