PA30 Series Compact Smart Meter
The Archmeter PA30 Series is a compact rail-mounted smart meter range designed for general single-phase and poly-phase power measurement. It is suitable for low-voltage primary-side metering and medium / high-voltage secondary-side metering when used with the correct CT and wiring arrangement.
The PA30 Series includes the PA34 for 1-phase 4-channel monitoring and the PA33 for three-phase power monitoring. With clip-on CTs, RS485 Modbus communication, compact size, low auxiliary power requirement and kWh accuracy better than 0.5% at PF = 1, the PA30 is suitable for retrofit metering, feeder monitoring, panel monitoring and energy management applications.

Product Description
The PA30 Series is designed for compact power and energy measurement in existing or new electrical panels. Its clip-on CT design makes installation easier for retrofit applications because the CTs can be installed around existing conductors with reduced wiring effort.
The PA34 model is designed for 1-phase 4-channel monitoring, making it useful for multiple single-phase circuits. The PA33 model is designed for three-phase applications and supports multiple wiring modes, including 1P2W, 1P3W, 3P3W and 3P4W configurations.
Best use case: PA30 is suitable where compact DIN rail metering is required with clip-on CTs, RS485 Modbus communication and multiple circuit / phase measurement from a small device.

Typical System Integration
PA30 meters can be installed inside metering panels or distribution boards. Measurement data can be collected through RS485 Modbus and connected to a gateway, BMS, EMS, SCADA or IoTWatt 4.0 for centralised monitoring and reporting.
Integration with IoTWatt 4.0
When connected to IoTWatt 4.0, PA30 meter data can be used for energy dashboards, circuit comparison, tenant metering, feeder-level analytics, digital energy audit, EECA reporting support and abnormal energy consumption detection.
- Monitor single-phase or three-phase energy values through RS485 Modbus.
- Use PA34 for multiple single-phase circuit monitoring.
- Use PA33 for three-phase feeder and equipment monitoring.
- Collect kWh, kW, kVA, kvar, PF and related measured values for dashboards and reports.
- Use circuit-level data for baseline creation, load profiling and energy audit evidence.
