The Partially Filled Electromagnetic Flow Meter offers an innovative solution for fluid flow measurement in partially filled or semi-full pipelines. It combines electromagnetic induction technology with integrated level sensing—making it ideal for systems where full pipe flow cannot be guaranteed, such as wastewater, stormwater, and agricultural irrigation systems.
Utilizing the principle of Faraday’s law, this meter detects the voltage induced by the conductive fluid flowing through a magnetic field. A specially configured electrode and grounding ring at the pipe bottom enable precise measurement of flow rate—even when the pipe is only partly filled (from approximately 10% fill upward).
