QI-POWER-485-300 Single Phase AC/DC Power & Energy Meter
The QEED QI-POWER-485-300 is a single-phase AC/DC TRMS power and energy analyser designed for direct measurement of current and voltage. It measures high-current AC/DC systems and provides electrical values through RS485 Modbus RTU for monitoring, logging and automation systems.
Compared with the LV version, the QI-POWER-485-300 is intended for higher-voltage applications. It is suitable for photovoltaic systems, inverter monitoring, AC/DC motor measurement, industrial power monitoring, telecom power, UPS and high-current energy applications.

Overview
QI-POWER-485-300 is designed for single-phase AC/DC power measurement where current, voltage, power, energy, frequency, power factor and THD need to be read digitally by a Modbus master. It is especially useful where conventional AC-only meters cannot measure DC systems or variable-frequency applications.
The device can be configured through FACILE / Q-WIZARD software using an RS485-USB connection, or directly by using the Modbus register map. It supports DIN rail mounting and can be installed horizontally or vertically depending on the panel layout.

Configuration
Using an RS485-USB serial link, the QI-POWER-485-300 can be connected to the FACILE / Q-WIZARD configuration software. The same device can also be programmed directly using the Modbus register map from a supervisory or master system.

Commissioning note: Set the DIP switches correctly for FACILE / Q-WIZARD configuration or direct RS485 configuration. After changing settings, save the configuration through the command register and power-cycle the device where required.

RS485 Modbus Integration
QI-POWER-485-300 can be connected into an RS485 Modbus RTU network and read by PLC, SCADA, EMS, BMS, Modbus gateway, datalogger, IoT gateway or IoTWatt 4.0. It is suitable for both temporary commissioning checks and permanent energy monitoring installations.

Installation Note
The QI-POWER-485-300 can be mounted horizontally or vertically depending on panel space and conductor routing. For high-voltage and high-current applications, installation should be carried out with proper isolation, safe working procedures, correct conductor routing and verification of voltage category.
Selection note: Use the QI-POWER-485-300 for higher voltage applications. Use the QI-POWER-485-300-LV where the system is limited to low-voltage measurement up to 80Vac / 100Vdc.
