Astro presents Bahagia Yang Tertangguh, a touching adaptation of Rissa Ahdiya’s popular novel, brought to life by award-winning screenwriter Oka Aurora and renowned director Osman Ali.
The drama follows Hana (Nad Zainal), a woman trapped in a toxic marriage and controlled by her sister-in-law. Forced to become the main provider for her husband’s family, Hana’s life is filled with sacrifice and emotional suffering.
Everything worsens when her husband, Zakwan (Izzue Islam), cheats and continues to prioritise his sister Juriah (Rozita Che Wan) over their marriage. Just as Hana is about to lose all hope, a kind neighbour, Armin (Kamal Adli), enters her life — offering comfort, compassion and a chance to rediscover love.
However, the journey is not easy. Hana faces jealousy, threats and rejection from Armin’s mother, Zaleha (Datin Seri Nina Jureen). Through heartbreak and courage, Hana learns that real happiness must be fought for, not simply waited for.
A powerful story of resilience and healing, Bahagia Yang Tertangguh reminds us that everyone deserves a second chance at happiness.
