The project involved a two-pronged approach to optimize climate control within their facility:
8HP Ducted Unit Relocation & Installation: We managed the seamless relocation of an 8HP ducted system. This required precise ductwork reconfiguration and refrigerant piping adjustments to ensure the high-capacity unit provides consistent airflow and cooling across its new designated zone.
5HP Cassette Unit Installation: To complement the centralized cooling, a 5HP ceiling cassette unit was installed. This unit provides balanced 4-way airflow, ideal for maintaining temperature stability in open-plan areas or specialized production sections.
Site Assessment: Evaluating the structural requirements for the 8HP ducted unit’s new position to minimize static pressure loss.
Precision Piping: Extending and insulating refrigerant lines to maintain system efficiency and prevent condensation.
Testing & Commissioning: Rigorous load testing to ensure both the ducted and cassette units meet the required thermal benchmarks for PNMB’s specialized printing environment.
