The Korean Cultural Exchange Programme held at Reed International School was truly a spectacular and heart-warming event. With the valued support of Encik Mohd Saiful Ridzuan, Assistant District Education Officer, Student Talent Development Unit, Hulu Selangor, and Pn Emilia, District Education Counsellor, Hulu Selangor, we were honoured to welcome participants from 19 schools across Hulu Selangor, all gathered under one roof for a memorable day of cultural connection and celebration.
The atmosphere was vibrant with colour, energy, and joy as both Korean and Malaysian students came together through captivating performances, cultural booths, and engaging activities. Sixty-five eager participants took part in the programme, excited to explore, learn, and share in this meaningful exchange. It was a beautiful day of storytelling and tradition—a bridge connecting two cultures through music, dance, and unity.
It was also a special day for us, as we proudly launched new Co-Curricular Activities (CCA)—Equestrian, Golf, and Archery—as part of our commitment to holistic student development. Trial sessions were held during the event, giving children the opportunity to experience these exciting activities firsthand. The joy and enthusiasm on their faces were a testament to how meaningful and enriching these new experiences were.
