The Aerial Connection Box is designed to enable junctions between two overhead Low Voltage (LV) networks, supporting up to 8 single-phase or 4 three-phase connections. It can be mounted on a facade or pole, and is also suitable for use at the end of a network.

General Features & Benefits:

  • Equipped with 4 connection blocks using insulation piercing (P429) or stripping (P426) technology.

  • Secured tightening with insulated shear head screws (H17/HC8 for network; H10/H10 for service).

  • Test probe access is available at each terminal block.

  • Dual-side conductor entry/exit with elastomer seal sockets angled downwards.

  • Stainless steel screw closure with hinged lid for easy wiring.

  • Sealable and padlock-ready for added security.

  • Terminal separators allow a flexible conductor connection order.

  • Protection rating: IP33 (enclosure closed) / IP2X (live parts when opened).

  • Optional metallic mounting plate for installation on non-flat areas.

  • Suitable for live-line installation (without load on tap conductor).

  • Compliant with HN 62-S-33 and EN 50 483-5 standards.

Key Advantages for Utilities & Contractors:

  • Enables both single-phase and three-phase connections.

  • Reduces the number of connectors for safer and more organised networks.

  • Improves visibility and load distribution, preventing the “spider’s web” effect.

  • Enhances fraud prevention with a secure, tamper-resistant design.

  • Allows potential checks via test probe.

  • Offers strong resistance against corrosion and humidity, ensuring long-term durability.

  • Facilitates safer operations with a sliding lid design and electrocution risk reduction.

  • Provides cleaner junctions, avoiding irregular cable cuts.
