Integrated Z-axis Stage (iZAA-MO)

WDI’s Z-axis Stages are motorized systems for precise, automated movement of microscope objective lenses. They offer versatility for various microscopy applications, including long stroke models and configurations for larger field-of-view objectives and cameras. Known for accuracy, repeatability, and reliability, the fully integrated multi-objective model (iZAA-MO) can handle either a single objective (M26 standard thread) or multiple objectives using WDI’s linear lens changers and various objective lenses with support for various insert plates suitable for almost all objectives on the market.

 

Features

• New integrated electronics removes the need for an additional external controller and cabling with significant cost reduction while maintaining superb performance ideal for fast-tracking focus applications.
• A four times improvement in Z-axis resolution (40 nm) compared to previous generation actuators.
• Design allows for standalone use or use with WDI’s autofocus sensors while supports two 1.5A LED illuminators or one 3A LED illuminator as well as WDI’s linear lens changers supporting various objectives.
