• Each 5 /ml of reconstituted suspension contains 125 /mg cefuroxime (as cefuroxime axetil, equivalent to approx. 150 /mg cefuroxime axetil) in the form of tutti frutti flavored granules for suspension.

• Approved for treating mild-to-moderate infections caused by susceptible bacteria in adults and children from 3 months old, including:
  • Upper respiratory tract infections (otitis media, sinusitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis)
  • Lower respiratory tract infections (e.g. pneumonia, exacerbations of chronic bronchitis)
  • Genito urinary tract infections (cystitis, pyelonephritis, urethritis)
  • Skin and soft tissue infections (impetigo, pyoderma, furunculosis)
  • Acute uncomplicated gonorrhoea and early Lyme disease

• Duration: Typically 7 /days (range 5–10 /days).
• Adults & children ≥ /40 /kg: Usually 250 /mg (10 /ml of suspension) twice daily. For more severe infections or otitis media: 500 /mg twice daily.
• Children < /40 /kg (≥ /3 months):
  • Most infections: 10 /mg/kg twice daily, up to 125 /mg (5 /ml) per dose
  • Otitis media or severe infections: 15 /mg/kg twice daily, up to 250 /mg (10 /ml) per dose
  • Lyme disease: 15 /mg/kg twice daily for 10–21 /days (commonly 14 /days)
• Administration tips:
  • Shake well before use
  • Measure accurately using the supplied spoon or dosing syringe
  • Take after meals to maximise absorption
  • Not recommended for infants under 3 /months of age
