Pantoprazole Sandoz 40mg is indicated for:
Treatment of erosive esophagitis associated with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
Healing and maintenance of gastric and duodenal ulcers
Helicobacter pylori eradication in combination with appropriate antibiotics
Management of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and other pathological hypersecretory conditions
Prevention of NSAID-induced gastric ulcers
Dosage: Typically, 40mg once daily. Duration varies based on condition:
Erosive esophagitis: 4–8 weeks
Gastric/duodenal ulcers: 4–8 weeks
H. pylori eradication: Combination therapy for 7–14 days
Zollinger-Ellison syndrome: Adjusted based on acid output
Administration: Swallow the tablet whole, 1 hour before meals. Do not chew or crush.
Missed Dose: If a dose is missed, take it as soon as you remember unless it's almost time for the next dose. Do not double the dose.
Precautions: Consult your doctor if you have liver disease, osteoporosis, or are taking other medications
