AC clamp meters for leakage current measurement
HT78 is clamp meters designed for an accurate measurement of very low values of AC currents and, therefore, they are mainly employed in detecting and and defining leakage currents in private and industrial electric systems, which typically cause RCDs’ tripping.Clamp meters are provided, among others, with an integrated lowpass filter to eliminate harmonic components and e with an analogue output in DC voltage for the connection with possible external dataloggers (HT78). HT78, thanks to its big jaws (108mm), allows easily measuring leakage currents also on (single-phase and/or three-phase 4-wire) connections with cables having a big cross-section.
