BISO  Intimate Cocktail Bar

BISO is a boutique cocktail bar interior design project in Penang, conceived as an intimate urban retreat tucked within a heritage streetscape. The design reflects AOHA’s humanistic philosophy — where atmosphere, materiality, and spatial restraint shape the guest experience from the very first encounter. Rather than competing with its surroundings, BISO integrates seamlessly into the existing architectural fabric, allowing subtle lighting and refined detailing to define its identity.

The exterior façade sets the tone: understated, warm, and quietly confident. Soft illumination filters through textured glazing, creating a sense of intrigue while preserving privacy. The approach is deliberate — inviting without being overt, distinctive without excess.
