ORIGA SYSTEM PLUS – Modular Actuator Series Overview

Parker Hannifin’s ORIGA SYSTEM PLUS offers a unified modular platform for linear motion, combining pneumatic and electric drive technologies with precision guidance and flexible mounting. Below is a breakdown of the three core series: OSP-E, OSP-P, and OSP-L.

OSP-E – Electric Linear Actuators

• Drive Types: Belt (OSP-E..BHD), Ball Screw (OSP-E..SB), Trapezoidal Screw (OSP-E..ST)
• Guidance Options: Ball bearing, roller, plain bearing, heavy-duty
• Speed Range: Up to 10 m/s (belt drive); high repeatability ±0.05 mm/m
• Mounting: Dovetail rails on 3 sides; multi-axis connection ready
• Protection Class: IP54 standard; cleanroom and ATEX versions available
• Applications: High-speed positioning, synchronized multi-axis systems, vertical lifts

Migration Note: Ideal replacement for legacy electric actuators requiring modular integration and extended stroke lengths (up to 41,000 mm)

 OSP-P – Pneumatic Rodless Cylinders

• Bore Sizes: Ø10 to Ø80 mm
• Stroke Length: Up to 6,000 mm standard; longer on request
• Lifetime: Up to 8,000 km service interval
• Modular Add-ons: VOE valves, brakes, linear guides (SLIDELINE, POWERSLIDE, PROLINE)
• Special Versions: ATEX Zone 2GD, cleanroom certified, low/high temp (-40°C to +120°C)
• Applications: Reciprocating motion, pick-and-place, synchronized bi-parting systems

Migration Note: Recommended for replacing traditional rodless cylinders with enhanced modularity and integrated control options

OSP-L – Low-Friction Pneumatic Actuators

• Sealing System: PU inner band + stainless steel outer band for ultra-low leakage
