Must fulfil minimum entry requirements of desired programme

Applicants must fulfil one of the requirements below:

Either parent are currently teaching in any secondary school
Either parent must hold membership of Teochew /Han Chiang Association
Either parent must be currently working as staff at any of the Han Chiang Institutions

Applicants must achieve and maintain full passes in all subjects and meet a minimum CGPA of 2.75
Scholarship applications that are received after the deadline has passed will be rejected
Yearly submission of reapplication for the Secondary School Teacher Recognition Scholarship Award is not necessary

20% tuition fee waiver: Either parent are currently teaching in any secondary school
30% tuition fee waiver: Either parent must hold membership of Teochew Association/Han Chiang Association
50% tuition fee waiver: Either parent must be currently working as staff at any of the Han Chiang Institutions
