The SIM2x00 is a programmable Sensor Integration Machine with a high-performance CPU architecture that supports a broad range of application solutions. It comes with numerous interfaces such as Ethernet and IO-Link that enable a wide variety of devices to be integrated. The data can be processed and visualized immediately on the shop floor and thereby provides valuable information. Furthermore, the IoT gateway functionality allows advanced process analyzes thanks to the connection from the edge to the data floor (cloud and on-premise). Pre-configured apps can also be used. In this way, SICK Nova makes it easy, for example, to use 2D and 3D streaming cameras as well as certain LiDAR sensors and provides user-friendly solutions for quality control applications.
