Content

• Each tablet contains 50 /mg of Hydrochlorothiazide, a thiazide diuretic.
• Hydrochlorzide is formulated as an orange-colored tablet, typically supplied in blister packs.

• Used for managing hypertension (high blood pressure) and edema (fluid retention) associated with conditions such as heart failure, liver cirrhosis, or kidney disorders.

• Adults:
  • Hypertension: 25 /mg to 50 /mg once daily (max 100 /mg/day).
  • Edema: 25 /mg to 100 /mg once or twice daily (max 200 /mg/day).
• Children: ~2.5 /mg/kg per day, divided into two doses.
• Administration:
  • Take orally with a full glass of water; do not chew, crush, or break the tablet.
  • It may be taken with or without food. Preferably take in the morning before 6 /pm to reduce nocturnal urination.
• Follow your doctor’s directions precisely. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered unless it’s near the next dose. Do not double dose.
