Overview
QI-POWER-485-300-LV is designed for single-phase low-voltage AC/DC measurement. Through one compact device, users can monitor current, voltage, power, energy, frequency, power factor and THD from an RS485 Modbus master system.
The meter can be mounted horizontally or vertically using DIN rail clips or screw mounting. It is useful for compact panels, equipment skids, battery systems and industrial monitoring panels where standard AC energy meters are not suitable for DC or variable-frequency applications.
Positioning: Compact low-voltage AC/DC Modbus power and energy meter for DC systems, batteries, UPS, telecom, data centre and variable-frequency applications.

RS485 Modbus Integration
QI-POWER-485-300-LV can be connected to an RS485 Modbus RTU network and read by PLC, SCADA, EMS, BMS, Modbus gateway, datalogger, IoT gateway or IoTWatt 4.0. The device supports standard Modbus function codes for reading and writing registers.
- Use A+ and B- connections according to Modbus RTU wiring practice
- Assign unique Modbus address when multiple devices share the same RS485 bus
- Confirm baud rate, parity and response delay during commissioning
- Use Modbus register map for integration into third-party systems
- Use RS485 gateway for cloud monitoring and IoTWatt 4.0 integration
Commissioning note: Any DIP-switch change may require power cycling or a reset command. Save configuration through the command register before returning the DIP switches to the required normal operating mode.
Installation Note
High-intensity magnetic fields can affect measurement values. Avoid installation near permanent magnets, electromagnets or iron masses that may strongly change the magnetic field. If irregular measurement behaviour is observed, reorient or move the device to a more suitable location.
