The Mikasa MVH-408 is a heavy-duty reversible plate compactor for dense soil, gravel, roadbase and cohesive material. Smooth forward and reverse control makes it practical in trenches, foundations and restricted work zones where turning a large machine is difficult.
The pictured unit uses a Yanmar diesel engine with electric start. Mikasa's vibration-absorbing handle reduces hand-arm vibration, while the integrated plate, lifting hook and protective engine cover support demanding site work.
