Sunway University Young Chef Scholarship

The Young Chef Scholarship represents an exceptional opportunity for passionate individuals to pursue their culinary dreams at Sunway University. This prestigious program is specifically designed for young talents who demonstrate a genuine passion for culinary arts but have not yet received formal training in this field. The scholarship not only provides financial support but also offers valuable hands-on experience through participation in university events and ambassador programs, creating a well-rounded educational experience for future culinary professionals.

Prospective candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

• Age requirement: Between 17 to 25 years old at the time of application
• Nationality: Open to both Malaysian citizens and international students
• Educational background: No previous enrollment in formal culinary education programs at Sunway University or any other educational institutions
• Academic qualification: Must satisfy the minimum entry requirements for the Diploma in Culinary Arts program

Selected scholars will be expected to engage in the following activities:

• Active participation as a member of the Sunway Student Ambassadors or Sunway Student Volunteer program
• Providing assistance and support for a minimum of three institution-wide events or activities throughout the academic year
