Active Ingredient

• Gentamicin Sulfate 5.0 mg/mL: An aminoglycoside antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit, effective against a broad spectrum of ocular pathogens.

Indications

• Treatment of bacterial infections of the anterior eye, including:

  • Conjunctivitis

  • Keratitis

  • Blepharitis

  • Hordeolum (stye)

• Prophylaxis of ocular infections following trauma or surgery.

Instructions for Use

• Dosage: Instill 1 drop into the affected eye 4 to 6 times daily.

• Administration:

  1. Wash hands thoroughly.

  2. Tilt the head back and gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a pouch.

  3. Place the dropper tip near the eye without touching it.

  4. Squeeze the bottle to instill one drop into the pouch.

  5. Close the eye and gently press the inner corner to prevent drainage.

  6. Wipe away any excess liquid with a clean tissue.

  7. Recap the bottle immediately after use.

• Precautions:

  • Do not wear contact lenses during treatment.

  • Avoid contaminating the dropper tip.

  • Consult a healthcare professional before use if pregnant, breastfeeding, or if you have pre-existing medical conditions.
