- Surface must be clean and dry
- Remove loose rust and old tape
- A thin layer of old CanSeal tape can be used as a base for the new application
- Remove paper backing from CanSeal roll and press into place, covering hatch joint
- Step firmly on the full length of tape
- Note: In cold weather conditions it is advisable to heat the hatch surface and adhesive side of tape before application
