• A 5ml sterile ophthalmic solution for topical use.

Indications 

Alphagan® P 0.2% Eye Drops are indicated for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with:

• Open-angle glaucoma

• Ocular hypertension

It may be used alone or in combination with other topical ophthalmic medications to lower IOP. 

Instructions 

• Dosage: Instill 1 drop into the affected eye(s) three times daily, approximately 8 hours apart. 

• Application:

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after use.

  2. Tilt your head back and gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a pouch.

  3. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it.

  4. Squeeze the dropper to release 1 drop into the lower eyelid pouch.

  5. Close your eye and gently press the inner corner (near the nose) for about 1 minute to prevent the medication from draining away.

  6. Wipe away any excess solution with a clean tissue.

• Precautions:

  • Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface, including the eye or hands, to avoid contamination.

  • Remove contact lenses before applying the drops and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them.

  • Wait at least 5 minutes before applying other eye medications to the same eye.

  • Discard the container at the end of treatment.

  • Consult your doctor before use if you have a history of eye infections, corneal problems, or are taking other eye medications.

  • Discontinue use and consult your doctor if you experience eye irritation, visual disturbances, or other adverse effects.
