This UV intensity measurement logger can measure UVA and UVC rays and record data to an SD card.

  • In addition to UVA and UVC ultraviolet rays, it is also possible to connect a K/J type thermocouple sensor (sold separately) to measure temperature and record data to an SD card.
  • Recorded data can be used with commercially available spreadsheet software, making it suitable for a variety of applications. Data recording can be selected from automatic recording or manual recording.
    The sampling time for the automatic data logger can be set to any of the following: 1, 2, 5, 10, 30, 60, 120, 300, 600, 1800, or 3600 seconds.
  • Comes with a green backlight function that makes it easy to see even in dark places.
  • Equipped with a hold function that temporarily freezes the measurement value on the display.
  • Comes with a MAX (maximum value)/MIN (minimum value) display function for measurement values.
  • To prevent battery drain, the device is equipped with an auto power off function that automatically turns off the power if the device is not operated for a certain period of time.

Measurement results can be recorded by inserting an SD card.

The data recorded on the SD card can be imported into spreadsheet software such as Excel as a CSV file.

Recommended UV wavelengths to be measured

Please use each sensor to measure the UV rays with the wavelengths listed above. When using a UVC sensor, if the light being measured contains UV rays with wavelengths other than 200-280 nm, such as natural light, the measurement may not be accurate.
  • Equipment that uses wavelengths including the UVA range (examples): tanning beds, reptile breeding lights, plate-making lamps, black lights, etc.
  • Devices that use wavelengths including the UVC range (examples): sterilizing filters for ornamental fish, ultraviolet treatment devices for athlete's foot, sterilizing lamps, etc.
