Restore power to your smallest devices with our 2.35mm x 0.7mm DC Power Plug. This sub-miniature male barrel connector is specifically designed for the ultra-thin power ports found on modern portable electronics. Whether you are repairing a specialized tablet charger, a handheld GPS, or a compact media device, this solder-type connector provides a professional-grade solution for micro-power interfaces.
Small Handheld Devices: A common tip size for specialized handheld scanners, portable digital audio players, and compact GPS units.
Tablet & E-Reader Repair: Fits various smaller tablets and e-readers that utilize a 0.7mm center pin for charging.
Micro-Hobbyist Projects: Ideal for creators working with ultra-small battery packs or low-voltage (3V-5V) micro-controllers.
Specialized Media Players: Frequently used as the power input for older portable DVD players and mini-projectors.
Sub-Miniature 2.35mm x 0.7mm Dimensions: Features a 2.35mm outer barrel diameter and a razor-thin 0.7mm internal pin hole for high-precision connectivity.
Precision Solder Terminals: Designed for fine-wire soldering, accommodating the thin-gauge wires (24-28 AWG) typical of small portable electronics.
Slimline Strain Relief: Includes a lightweight, screw-on plastic housing with a flexible boot to protect delicate solder joints from stress and bending.
High-Conductivity Plating: Nickel-plated brass construction ensures a reliable electrical path and prevents oxidation in portable environments.
"Problem Solver" Specialist Part: Perfect for when standard universal adapter kits lack the tiny 0.7mm pin size you need.
Heat-Resistant Core: The internal insulator is built to withstand precision soldering without warping the tiny center contact.
Low-Profile Aesthetic: Matches the sleek, compact design of modern mobile and handheld hardware.
Connector Type: DC Barrel Plug (Male)
Size: 2.35mm (Outer Diameter) x 0.7mm (Inner Pin Hole)
Is this the same as a 2.5mm plug?
No. It is slightly smaller. A 2.5mm plug will not fit into a 2.35mm socket, and a 2.35mm plug will be too loose in a 2.5mm port. Precision measurement is key for these small sizes.
Will this fit my old tablet?
Often yes. Many tablets from the early-to-mid 2010s used this 2.35mm x 0.7mm "yellow tip" standard. Check your original charger tip for a yellow insulator or measure with a caliper.
Is it hard to solder?
Due to the small size, we recommend using a fine-tip soldering iron and a small amount of flux.
