Connect your gear with confidence! Our Professional XLR Female to 6.35mm (1/4") Stereo Male Adaptor is the perfect solution for adapting microphone cables or balanced outputs to fit TRS jack inputs. Whether you are connecting a professional microphone to a portable PA system or an audio interface to studio monitors, this adaptor ensures a rock-solid, hum-free connection every time.
Microphone to Mixer: Connect standard XLR mic cables to mixers that only have 1/4" TRS inputs.
Audio Interfaces: Plug balanced XLR outputs into 1/4" balanced inputs on your recording hardware.
PA Systems & Amplifiers: Bridge the gap between stage snakes and active speaker inputs.
Live Sound Repairs: A "must-have" emergency tool in every sound engineer's gig bag.
Balanced Signal Mapping: Wired for TRS (Tip-Ring-Sleeve) to maintain a fully balanced signal, eliminating unwanted hum and EMI noise.
Superior Shielding: All-metal zinc alloy housing acts as a shield against radio frequency and electromagnetic interference.
Secure Locking Latch: The XLR female side features a high-tension metal release button to ensure your cable never pulls out accidentally.
Precision 1/4" Jack: Machined to exact tolerances for a snap-in fit that won't wobble or degrade over time.
High-Conductivity Contacts: Silver-plated pins and terminals provide maximum signal transfer with zero frequency loss.
Rugged Durability: The die-cast shell is built to survive the high-pressure environment of touring and frequent "plug-and-play" use.
Space-Saving Design: Short, rigid body design keeps your setup tidy and reduces the leverage stress on your equipment’s internal sockets.
Connector A: 3-Pin XLR Female
Connector B: 6.35mm (1/4") Stereo / TRS Male Jack
Material: Die-cast Zinc Alloy with Nickel Plating
Wiring: Balanced (Pin 1-Sleeve, Pin 2-Tip, Pin 3-Ring)
Will this work with my "Mono" guitar input?
While it will fit physically, this is designed for Balanced (TRS) signals. Using it with an unbalanced Mono (TS) guitar input may work but might result in a lower signal level depending on your equipment's wiring.
Does this provide Phantom Power?
No. This is a passive adaptor. It will pass Phantom Power (+48V) if your device provides it through the 1/4" TRS jack, but most mixers only provide Phantom Power through their XLR ports.
Can I use this for headphones?
This is typically used for mono balanced audio. It is not designed to split a stereo headphone signal into an XLR signal.
