Will this give me 3V? No. This is a Parallel holder. It keeps the voltage at 1.5V. If you need 3V, you should purchase our 2-Slot AAA Series holder instead.
Can I mix different battery brands? For Parallel circuits, we strongly recommend using two identical batteries (same brand, same age, and same charge level) to prevent one battery from trying to "charge" the other, which can cause leaks.
Does it fit rechargeable batteries? Absolutely. It is fully compatible with NiMH rechargeable AAA batteries. It will provide a combined capacity at 1.2V.
