Are these suitable for outdoor use? While the plastic housing is very durable, we recommend installing them under an eave or inside the entrance hole to protect the internal wiring from direct rain. They are highly resistant to humidity!
Can I connect 20 or 30 of these to one amplifier? Yes! Because these tweeters (especially Piezo versions) have high impedance at low frequencies, you can often connect many of them in parallel or series-parallel for swiftlet farming. Just ensure your amplifier is rated for the total load.
Do I need a crossover for these? For bird farming applications, they are often used directly. However, for Hi-Fi music use, we recommend using a small capacitor (e.g., 2.2uF to 4.7uF) to protect them from low-frequency bass.
