It is clean. Free from pathogens, weeds or other contaminants
Has the best re-wetting abilities
It has a stable EC and pH with optimum nutrient storage

Has excellent water buffering capacity
Has optimum air and water ratios

Ash contents: 12%
pH (water): 5.5-6.0
Conductivity (EC): 1.0

Composition

60% German black peat
40% White peat screened 0-7mm
