EMRO Malaysia Collaborates with UTM for Industrial Driven Experiential Learning (IDEAL) Course

Ms Aim Qhairana Binti Muhamad from EMRO Malaysia Sdn Bhd was invited as the industrial speaker and evaluator for the Industrial Driven Experiential Learning (IDEAL) course SSCT1613 Microbiology by the Faculty Of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) on 9 and 16 January 2025 🙆‍🙋‍♀️
This event enabled Faculty Of Science, UTM to identify emerging talent relevant to EMRO's needs, while providing feedback to the University regarding the skills and expertise required of graduates. Through the activity with EMRO, students also demonstrated their knowledge and critical thinking skills. Students had the opportunity to apply microbiological principles when analysing EMRO’s products and offered constructive feedback, potentially leading to innovations or improvements in existing products.
After an initial 3-hour online session on 9 December 2024, the participant was assigned to present an EM case study that was published on EMRO Japan website. Kudos and bravos to the student’s presentation and to all of the suggested enhancement recommendations.
