Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has announced that the Mitsubishi Xpander has surpassed 50,000 units sold in Malaysia since its launch, reinforcing its position as the No.1 best-selling non-national MPV for five consecutive years. To celebrate this milestone, the company has introduced the ‘XPander Step Up To Your Dream’ campaign, a limited-time promotion offering savings of up to RM10,000, low monthly instalments from RM799, as well as insurance subsidies and special trade-in offers for new buyers. The Xpander is offered in two variants – Standard and Plus – priced between RM99,980 and RM109,980. Both versions are powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine paired with a four-speed automatic transmission, delivering 104 hp and 141 Nm of torque. In terms of safety, the Standard variant includes cruise control, hill-hold assist, and a reverse camera, while the Plus variant enhances convenience and visibility with a 360° camera and front and rear driving video recorders. However, the model does not feature any ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) functions. Commenting on the achievement, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia CEO Takashi Sakamaki said that the milestone reflects the strong trust and loyalty of Malaysian families toward the brand. “This achievement not only shows our dedication to delivering vehicles that meet the needs of Malaysian families but also marks a proud moment for Mitsubishi as over 50,000 customers have chosen the Xpander.
