Product Description
The Festo CPV10-EX-VI is a compact, intrinsically safe valve terminal specifically designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, meeting ATEX Category 2 for zones 1 and 2 (gas) as well as zones 21 and 22 (dust) . Featuring a robust metal valve construction with a 10 mm grid dimension, this valve terminal integrates sub-base valves that contain all pneumatic ducts for supply, exhaust, and working ports, enabling maximum flow rates in a space-saving design . Each solenoid coil must be connected to an intrinsically safe circuit (type of protection Ex ib IIC) and the terminal supports 2 to 8 valve plates (even or odd numbers) with up to 16 individual electrical connections, making it ideal for process automation in chemical, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical facilities .
