Hydro-Air Digital Dissolved Oxygen Sensor is membrane based and uses polarographic technology to determine dissolved oxygen levels. The sensor is comprised of double-electrode cell, with a cathode and an anode, joined by the electrolyte and separated from the sample by a permeable membrane.
The sensor generates a potential, mV, related to the dissolved oxygen in contact with membrane. It provides low cost solution for the dissolved oxygen measurement typically in the aeration tank and in the aquaculture ponds.
The sensor can transmit data to any display units, data loggers, or controllers fitted with Modbus RS-485 inputs.
