Content (Active Ingredient)

• Bisoprolol Fumarate 2.5mg
  Bisoprolol is a cardioselective beta-blocker that primarily affects β -adrenergic receptors in the heart, reducing heart rate and blood pressure.

• Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)
• Stable Chronic Heart Failure (as part of standard treatment)
• Angina Pectoris (Chest Pain)
• Secondary Prevention of Myocardial Infarction (Post-Heart Attack)

• Administration: Take one tablet orally once daily in the morning.
• With or Without Food: The tablet can be taken with or without food.
• Swallow Whole: Do not chew or crush the tablet.
• Dosage Adjustment:
  • For hypertension and angina:
    • Start with 5 mg once daily.
    • If necessary, increase to 10 mg once daily.
    • Maximum dose: 20 mg once daily.
  • For chronic heart failure:
    • Start with 1.25 mg once daily for 1 week.
    • Increase to 2.5 mg once daily for the next week.
    • Continue increasing weekly up to 10 mg once daily, depending on tolerance.
• Renal or Hepatic Impairment: In patients with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance <20 mL/min) or severe hepatic impairment, the maximum dose should not exceed 10 mg once daily.
