- Each tablet contains Allopurinol 300 mg as the active ingredient.
Indications
- Used to reduce high levels of uric acid in the blood (hyperuricemia).
- Treatment and prevention of gout attacks.
- Management of uric acid kidney stones.
- Used in conditions like tumor lysis syndrome during chemotherapy to prevent uric acid buildup.
- Treatment of 2,8-dihydroxyadenine nephrolithiasis (a rare kidney stone condition).
Instructions (Dosage & Administration)
- Adults:
- Mild conditions: 100–200 mg once daily.
- Moderate to severe conditions: 300–600 mg daily, divided into 1-2 doses.
- Severe cases: up to 900 mg daily in divided doses.
- Administration:
- Take after meals to reduce stomach irritation.
- Swallow tablets whole with a full glass of water.
- Maintain good hydration during treatment.
