Eligibility Criteria

  • Open to Malaysian citizens only
  • Applicants must have secured admission to MIA and satisfy the entry requirements
  • Only SPM, GCE O-Level, or UEC holders with the required academic achievements are eligible
  • Results submitted for scholarship consideration must be from within two years of the intended intake
SPM / O-Level
8 A+ 100% tuition fee waiver for the entire programme
8 As and above 70% tuition fee waiver for the entire programme
7 As 40% tuition fee waiver for the entire programme
5-6 As 30% tuition fee waiver for the first 2 semesters
3-4 As 20% tuition fee waiver for the first 2 semesters
UEC (Best 3 subjects)
5 points 100% tuition fee waiver (subject to co-curricular evaluation)
3-6 points 70% tuition fee waiver for the entire programme
7-10 points 40% tuition fee waiver for the entire programme
11-13 points 30% tuition fee waiver for the first 2 semesters
14-18 points 20% tuition fee waiver for the first 2 semesters
(A1=1 pt, A2=2 pt, B3=3 pt, etc.)

Highlights

  • Recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 at the end of each semester
  • Applicants cannot be receiving financial support or scholarships from other institutions or organizations
  • This scholarship only applies to tuition fees for subjects taken for the first time; repeated subjects are not covered
