PONTALON TABLET 500MG contains mefenamic acid as its active ingredient.
Indications:
PONTALON is used for the symptomatic relief of:

• Degenerative arthralgia
• Mild to moderate pain, including muscular, traumatic, and dental pain
• Headache
• Postoperative and post-partum pain
• Dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation)

• Dosage for mild to moderate pain: 500mg three times daily for adults and adolescents over 14 years old.
• Dosage for dysmenorrhea: 500mg as an initial dose, followed by 250mg every 6 hours.
• Elderly (over 70 years): Half of the usual adult dose.
• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not chew, crush, or break it.
• Timing: Take it at a fixed time each day if it is for everyday use.
• Missed dose: Take it as soon as possible, but if it's close to the next dose, skip the missed dose.
