Deskripsyon
KTH 604 AC GREY OXIDE PRIMER is single component high build alkyd solvent based primer with anti-corrosion properties. It has fast drying time, thus most suitable for steel structural work and for better anti corrosion properties. It gives low gloss finishing to painted surfaces. A suitable top-coat should be painted to enhance the performance of the primer.
Applications
- As primer in a multi-coat coating system. Most suitable for use on steel, GI and others surfaces. Main for general industrial steel painting.
Composition
- Pigment: Grey oxide pigment.
- Binder: Modified alkyd resin
- Solvent: Hydrocarbon
Physical Characteristics of the Paint
- Density:1.30– 1.39.
- Volume Solid:70 ± 5%
- Viscosity: 67 ± 5 KU at 30°C
- Theoretical Coverage:9– 14 m2/ litre
- Colour: Grey oxide.
Coating Properties
Recommended Dry Film Thickness: 50-80 microns per coat
Recommended Wet Film Thickness: 70 - 115 microns per coat
Recommended Coating System: 1) AC 750 or AC 736 / 736 / 9600 HG / 5953 HG
2) 604 AC / 604 / 9600 HG / 5953 HG
Recommended Numbers of coat: One to two
Drying Time: Touch Dry: 20 Minutes
Hard Dry: 1 to 2 Hours
Recoating interval: At least 8 hours
Curing Time: 1 day
