GUARDIAN Petrolatum Primer is a key component of the GUARDIAN Petrolatum ST & HT Systems. It is a petrolatum-based compound formulated with inert fillers and corrosion inhibitors, and is manufactured in accordance with AWWA Standard C217-14.
The primer is inert and stable, maintaining its plasticity across a wide temperature range. It helps fill minor surface imperfections and enables the uniform application of GUARDIAN Petrolatum Mastic HT and GUARDIAN Petrolatum Tape ST & HT to a Class St2-cleaned substrate.
