Flavoxate hydrochloride 200 mg
Urispas (flavoxate) is indicated for the symptomatic relief of:
Dysuria (painful urination), urgency, nocturia, suprapubic pain, frequency, and urinary incontinence associated with:
Cystitis, prostatitis, urethritis, urethro-cystitis, urethro-trigonitis
Also used for relief of vesico-urethral spasms:
Due to catheterization or cystoscopy, including postoperative or procedural usage
200 /mg orally, three times a day (TID), typically after meals to reduce risk of nausea
Alternative dosing: 100–200 /mg 3–4 times daily depending on response and tolerability
Swallow tablets whole with water — do not chew or crush.
Take after meals to reduce gastrointestinal discomfort
If a dose is missed, skip it and resume the usual schedule. Do not double dose .
Use as required to relieve symptoms; no specific maximum duration noted (short courses typically)
