- Active Ingredient: Each plaster contains 30 mg of ketoprofen, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces pain and inflammation.
- Inactive Ingredients: Includes alkyl acrylate/vinyl acetate copolymer solution, isopropyl myristate, tocopherol acetate, mineral oil, release paper, and glycerin.
Indication
- Primary Use: Provides symptomatic relief for conditions such as osteoarthritis, tendonitis, periarthritis, myalgia, and pain/swelling following trauma.
- Mechanism of Action: Ketoprofen works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX), leading to decreased production of prostaglandins, thereby reducing inflammation and pain.
Instructions for Use
- Dosage: Apply one plaster to the affected area twice daily.
- Application: Ensure the skin is clean and dry. Remove the protective liner and apply the plaster with the sticky side down.
- Duration: Each plaster can be worn for up to 12 hours within a 24-hour period.
- Precautions: Avoid using on broken skin or mucous membranes. Do not use for occlusive dressing.
