- Active Ingredient: Each tablet contains Amlodipine Besilate, equivalent to Amlodipine 5 mg.
Indications
Hovid Hovasc 5mg Tablet is indicated for:
- Hypertension (high blood pressure)
- Angina pectoris (chest pain)
Instruction
Use Hovid Hovasc as directed by your doctor.
- Take Hovid Hovasc by mouth with or without food. If stomach upset occurs, take with food to reduce stomach irritation.
- Continue to use Hovid Hovasc even if you feel well. Do not miss any dose.
- If you miss a dose of Hovid Hovasc, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.
Ask your health care provider any questions you may have about how to use Hovid Hovasc.
Dosage & Administration
- Adults: 1 tablet (5 mg) once daily. The dose may be adjusted based on individual response.
- Administration: Take the tablet orally, with or without food.
- Missed Dose: If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered unless it's almost time for the next dose. Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one.
