Adefovir dipivoxil
Indication
Chronic hepatitis B in adults w/ evidence of hepatitis B viral replication & either evidence of persistent elevations in serum transaminases or histologically active disease.
Instruction
Adult 18-65 yr 10 mg once daily.
Drug interaction
Drugs eliminated by tubular secretion or which alter tubular secretion may increase serum conc. Increased AUC & Cmax w/ ibuprofen.
